One sentence.

Why humans tend to stay in a relation, when the sadness of their heart and soul, can be seen through their eyes?

A sense of obligation, and they resign to thin gravity.

Often the bad partner feign helplessness, thus perpetuating the vicious cycle that generates more gravity.

Either that or they're a glutton for pain.

My step mother hates to be alone. That's the only reason she married my dad even though she doesn't even like him anymore. He's a convenience for her.

The question can into my mind, due to the fact that I see so many women come the ER, in the blink of death, and they still protecting their aggressor. After being bit-up, how can the human mind comprehend the situation.

The Calories You Sip Can Add Up

Is me, again, here to tell you good stuff about life. So here we go:

A study conducted by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, showed that up to 37 percent of daily liquid calories come from sugar-sweetened drinks.

Soda and fruit-flavored drinks can rack up to 250 calories per 12 ounces. Portion size also matters, if you buy and consume a 20 ounce, 48 ounce, 1 liter and 2 liter bottle, it is easy to take in as much as 800 calories from soda alone.

"Juice" drinks (flavored, sugar-sweetened juice) can rack up more calories per ounce than soda! Orange, grape and cranberry juice drinks have about 216 calories per 12 ounces.

Even 100% fruit juice, be it orange, apple, grape, pomegranate, cranberry or another flavor, can contribute calories to your diet. It’s great that all the sugar in fruit juice is natural and direct from the fruit, but unlike a whole piece of fruit, fruit juice is very concentrated in sugar, which makes it high in calories. Juice can also count as a serving of fruit if you’re getting about 6 ounces, but if you’re filling a big 24 ounce cup, you could be pouring about 320 calories of OJ with your breakfast. Go for grape juice or pineapple juice and the numbers are even higher. The key is to stick to a 4 to 6 ounce servings. Fresh fruit is always the best alternative due to the fiber content.

Milk, including non-dairy milk alternatives, can be overlooked. A single serving of milk is 8 ounces, which is probably less than what many people pour at meals or on a big bowl of cereal in the morning. A tall dinner glass is about 12 to 16 ounces, which provides 132-168 calories if you choose skim. Fill your glass with 2% milk and that number jumps to 240 calories. These facts don’t discount the key nutrients found in milk that are healthful, but they hopefully encourage a proper serving size.

Coffee alone has no calories; however, enticing additives offered by java joints can add lots of calories. An 8 ounce latte made with whole milk is about 130 calories, but add flavored syrup, sugar and whipped cream on top and your drink now tops 200 calories. A tall, grande and venti size with whole milk and whipped cream can pack up to 440 calories. So, only for your info, "don't shoot the messanger, be a good Vampire!!!"

Dear Vampires, here we go again. I will write the following, not to tell you as how to live you life during the insanity of the incoming months.

10 tips to keep you sane over the holidays...or any other time:

1. Finding happiness is a choice and you can choose
to pursue happiness and experience laughter. As Abraham Lincoln said, “Most folks are as happy as
they make up their minds to be.”

2. Live today only. Holding on to resentment is not
good for the body or mind.

3. Carry with you something small that reminds you
of peaceful times. When agitated, pull your object
out of your purse or pocket and reflect on tranquility and remember to breathe.

4. Practice gratitude. Say “thank you” for the day.

5. Practice acceptance. We can’t change people, but
we have the ability to choose how we react and
interact with others.

6. Simplify holiday preparations.

7. Do not over-commit.

8. Entertain less.

9. Be more relaxed about how the house looks.

10. Be realistic about your expectations.

And now, about your beautiful health:

Tips to a healthy holiday season

As the holiday season approaches, thoughts of the
dreaded holiday weight gain arise. Here are a few ideas
on how to keep those pounds at bay this year:

Set realistic goals for yourself. Since the colder months often mean more tempting treats and less time experiencing the outdoors, focus on maintaining your current weight instead of stressing about weight loss.

Be aware of how much you are eating. Snacking can be dangerous since it is hard to monitor how much is really being consumed.

Try to incorporate low-calorie options with
high-calorie ones. Choose which holiday food you really want and fill the rest of your plate with nutrient-rich vegetables and fruit.

Never skip a meal in preparation for a later celebration. The longer you go without eating, the more likely you are to overeat later.

Keep up with your usual exercise routine. It will not only help keep those extra pounds off,
but also will help reduce the stress that is often felt during the holidays.
